Monday Morning panel slates July 16 meeting
The Monday Morning Advocacy Network of Middlesex County will hold a special monthly meeting from 1-3 p.m. on July 16 in the community room at the Chuck Costello Housing Complex, 1998 Route 18 north, Old Bridge.
Guest speaker Luke Koppisch, coordinator, Monday Morning Project, will speak about the project, how it was established, and its accomplishments, including helping to pass increased fines for accessible-parking law violations; the snow-removal law; and recent legislation to remove demeaning language from the state constitution.
Other discussion will focus on the Aug. 17 open meeting on housing issues for all Monday Morning networks, accessibility and maintenance issues at the New Brunswick train station, a presentation on the Rutgers University Heldrich Center survey on employment and people with disabilities, voting registration and re-registration, and more.
