Performers sought for 'Wait Until Dark' production

Auditions for the Sayreville Main Street Theatre Company's upcoming production of the thriller "Wait Until Dark" are set for July 24 and July 25 at the theater, 3018 Bordentown Ave., Parlin section of Sayreville. Callbacks, if needed, are planned for July 26.

Director Greg Louis is seeking actors for the following roles:

• Harry Roat Jr. - male, mid-20s to mid-40s, a sinister, psychotic conman;

• Susy Hendrix - female, mid-20s to mid 40s, blind character;

• Mike Talman - male, mid-20s to mid-40s, ex-convict, smooth talker;

• Sgt. Carlino - male, mid-20s to mid-40s, ex-convict, conman;

• Sam Hendrix - male, mid-20s to mid-40s;

• Gloria - female, 12-16 years old;

• two policemen - any age.

Show dates will be Sept. 28, 29, Oct. 5, 6, 7, 12 and 13.
