The Sayreville 11-year-old All-Stars enjoyed one of the best seasons ever for an 11-year-old Sayreville All-Star Little League team. The team record of 4-3 in the season included two mercy rule wins (with scores of 10-0 and 10-0) and an exciting 9-7 win ending with a walk-off home run by Chris Ryan to advance them to the district semifinials. The games were highlighted by the exciting pitching, fielding and hitting from all players.

The Sayreville All-Stars' run came to an end in the semifinals against the 2006 district champions, the Clark Little League team, with a close game ending in a 6-4 loss. However, the Sayreville players held their heads up high and enjoyed a great season with their team manager and coaches.

The players are Johnny Cabrera, Steven Herdman, Nick Cannon, Eric Hartigan, Billy Lockwood, Cody Van Note, Ronnie Soporowski, Eric Johnson, Austin Leibowitz, Joe Fischer, Damian Mattachiera, Chris Ryan, Corey Benko and Danny Iannaccone.

The coaches are Mark Herdman and Ron Soporowski, and the manager is Mark Leibowitz.
