Curtain to rise on 'A Day in the Life'

The @CT Theater Company and the Sayreville Main Street Theatre Company will present "A Day in the Life," an original musical based on songs of the Beatles and written by Irwin Hahn and Dan Davidson, at 8 p.m. on Aug. 31, Sept. 1, 7 and 8, and 2 p.m. on Sept. 2, at the Main Street Theatre, 3018 Bordentown Ave., Parlin section of Sayreville.

The musical story, which is told through Lennon/McCartney lyrics, is set in a quant restaurant where the proprietor meets 10 familiar characters including Eleanor Ribgy, Prudence, Sgt. Pepper and Lucy Diamond, all of whom interact and have life-changing experiences.
