Child safety on the Internet to be discussed

A program titled "Child Safety on the Information Highway" is planned for 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 13 at the Sayreville Public Library, Washington Road, Parlin section of Sayreville.

Guest presenter will be Garrett Husveth, president of Latent Technology Group, a computer-forensics firm based in Denville. Husveth has more than 16 years' experience in the information-technology and security field and is an expert in the area of computer safety in the home and school. Participants will learn about risks to children on the Internet and how to teach youngsters to avoid being victimized. The public is invited. Refreshments will be served. Admission is free of charge.
