St. Stan's Oktoberfest scheduled for Sept. 22

St. Stanislaus Kostka HSA will sponsor its annual Oktoberfest from 3-9 p.m. on Sept. 22 on the St. Stan's School grounds, 225 MacArthur Ave., Sayreville. In case of inclement weather, the event will take place from 1-8 p.m. on Sept. 23.

Highlights will include games, flower and cake wheels, rides, a basket raffle, entertainment, a pumpkin patch, 50/50s, a beer garden and food including a pork-loin dinner special.

Youngsters will have the opportunity to pay one price and go on rides from 3-6 p.m. or 6-9 p.m. The Firehouse Polka Band will provide music from 5-9 p.m. A Family Hayride is set for 3-7 p.m. There will be Haunted Hayride from 7-10 p.m.

A Friday-Night-Fright Hayride is planned for 7-10 p.m. on Sept. 21, the night before the Oktoberfest celebration. For more information, call the school at (732) 254-5819.
