Pruiti will display leadership, character, creative thinking
While living and raising my family in Old Bridge, I came across hardworking, dedicated people - one of them is Joe Pruiti.

I first met Joe when my daughter Tiffany tried out for the Old Bridge travel basketball team. Joe went on to coach my daughter for the next six years, and since that time I have gotten to know him very well. Not only has he coached various sports for many years, he has also served as president of the Old Bridge Basketball Association for the past eight years, as former member of the Old Bridge Recreation Advisory Board and as a current basketball coach for Camp R.O.B.I.N.

I just learned that Joe would be running for one of the Township Council seats in the upcoming November election. can't think of a better person to serve our town. Joe has been an Old Bridge resident since he emigrated from Italy at the age of 13, and he holds a master of business administration degree and works as a financial controller.

I believe that Joe will inject new blood and energy into the council by utilizing his work ethic, character, experience and outlook. For example, he was telling me that he would like to introduce a springcleaning program, wherein once a year the township would pick up bulk garbage from all residents. Currently, the disposal companies require an extra charge, and I'm sure that some garbage is illegally disposed of and ultimately costs the township to clean up. I think Joe's idea would be practical and a welcome service to township residents.

I believe this is the kind of leadership and creative thinking we can expect from Joe Pruiti.
