Adeline "Chickie" Ferreri
Mrs. Ferreri, 82, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Sept. 21, 2007, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Prior to her retirement in 1992, she was employed as a cafeteria manager with the Sayreville Board of Education, where she worked for more than 30 years. Her husband, Anthony C. Ferreri, died in 1983. Surviving are two sons, Robert Ferreri, and his wife, Diane, of Strongsville, Ohio, and Richard Ferreri of Ocean Grove; and a daughter, Janet Ferreri of Parlin. A Mass was offered at St. Bernadette's Church, Parlin section of Old Bridge. Interment was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin section of Sayreville.
Dolores Delmonico Grafe
Mrs. Grafe, 77, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Sept. 20, 2007, in Briarwood Care Center, Sayreville. Her husband, John Grafe, died in 2005. Surviving are a son, Gary Grafe, and his wife, Marietta, of Little Falls; a daughter, Kathleen McSweeney, and her husband, Bryan, of Parlin; a sister, Irene Bollerman of Florida; a brother, James Delmonico Jr., also of Florida; five grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren. Services were held at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin. Cremation was private.
Joseph A. Brzychcy
Mr. Brzychcy, 85, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Sept. 28, 2007, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen. Surviving are a daughter, Mary Ellen, and a son, Joseph, with whom he lived; a brother, Frank of the Fords section of Woodbridge; a sister, Helen Zelickovics of Edison; and a cousin, Margaret Lauritsen, also of Edison. A Mass was offered at St. Bernadette's Church, Parlin section of Old Bridge. Interment was in New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin section of Sayreville.
Mario DeRosa
Mr. DeRosa, 66, of the Cliffwood Beach section of Old Bridge, died Sept. 25, 2007, in Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. He was predeceased by his parents, Costanzo and Mary Pallifrone DeRosa. Surviving are four children, Michael, Thomas, Francis and Michelle DeRosa; three sisters, Mary Giusti and Alice DeRosa, both of Cliffwood Beach, and Theresa Knuppel of Florida; a brother, Joseph DeRosa of Maine; his former wife, Harriett DeRosa of Jersey City; and six nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Lawrence Church, Laurence Harbor section of Old Bridge. Interment was in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown section of North Hanover. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
Joseph F. Zebro
Mr. Zebro, 85, of the Cliffwood Beach section of Old Bridge, died Sept. 15, 2007, at home. His wife, Mary E. Oliver Zebro, died in March. Surviving are a son, Steven, and his wife, Jane, of West Keansburg; a daughter, Anita de los Reyes, and her husband, Ciro, of the Cliffwood Beach section of Aberdeen; and four grandchildren. A service was held at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Keyport. Interment was in Shoreland Memorial Gardens, Hazlet. Memorial contributions may be made to Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center, Edison, or to the American Cancer Society.
Stella Syganiec Quick
Mrs. Quick, 90, of Old Bridge, formerly of East Brunswick, died Sept. 14, 2007, in Old Bridge Manor. She was predeceased by her first husband, John Foehner; her second husband, Vernon Quick; a son, Alan Foehner, and a daughter, Joan Kirsch. Surviving are a daughter, Judith Palmucci of Lakewood; a sister, Viola Oberleiton of Springfield; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and eight great-greatgrandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
Ludwig Rucinski
Mr. Rucinski, 83, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Sept. 16, 2007, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. His wife, Nadie Lyasenko Rucinski, died in 1994. Surviving are two sons, Ludwig of the Laurence Harbor section of Old Bridge and Robert, and his wife, Sue Ann, of Keansburg; and six grandchildren. Services were held at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
Seymour Schechtman
Mr. Schechtman, 82, of Quakertown, Pa., formerly of Old Bridge, died Sept. 27, 2007, in Quakertown Center. His wife, Mary, died in 2005. Surviving are a son, Leonard Schechtman of Center Valley, Pa.; a daughter, Arlene Gerwin of Boulder, Colo.; a sister, Leona Schacht of East Meadow, N.Y., and Tucson, Ariz.; and four grandchildren. Services were held at Beth Israel Cemetery, Parlin section of Sayreville. Arrangements were under the direction of Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge.
Antoinette "Toni" Wojcik Wojtaszek
Mrs. Wojtaszek, 84, of Sayreville, died Sept. 25, 2007, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Her husband, Joseph G. Wojtaszek, died in 2005. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Diane and James Poltrictzky of Sayreville; two brothers, John and Walter Wojcik, both of Sayreville; and two grandsons. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Cremation was private.
Judy Marjorie Knoeckel
Ms. Knoeckel, 61, of Spotswood, formerly of Old Bridge and South River, died Sept. 22, 2007, at home. Prior to her retirement in 2002, she was employed for more than 20 years as a school-bus driver with the Old Bridge Township Board of Education. Surviving are a sister, Janice N. Knoeckel of Old Bridge, and several other family members. Private funeral services were under the direction of Spotswood Funeral Home.
Roman J. Chrzanowski
Mr. Chrzanowski, 50, of South River, died Sept. 26, 2007, in Pascack Valley Hospital, Westwood. Surviving are a son, Roman D., and a daughter, Ashley L., both of South River; his parents, Tadeusz and Romana Chrzanowski, both of South River; a sister, Ursula VanWart, and her husband, Robert, of Sayreville; and a nephew and a niece. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Brunswick.
Helen Adamy D'Espies
Mrs. D'Espies, 89, of East Brunswick, died Sept. 26, 2007, in Willow Creek Nursing Home, Somerset section of Franklin. Her husband, Alvin "Bud" D'Espies, died in 1981. Surviving are a daughter, Gail Kronick, and her husband, James, of Old Bridge; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. Services were held at Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Hillside.
Sara E. Dubinin
Ms. Dubinin, 19, of Sayreville, died Sept. 25, 2007, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, as the result of injuries sustained as a passenger in a Sept. 24 auto accident in Sayreville. A graduate of Cardinal Mc- Carrick High School, South Amboy, she attended Middlesex County College, Edison. She was employed as a hostess at the Colonial Diner, East Brunswick. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Nunzie and Sarah Amabile, her paternal grandmother, Maria Dubinin, and her godmother, Marianne Menge. Surviving are her parents, Victor and Elizabeth Dubinin; two brothers, Victor Dubinin of Bloomfield and Ryan Dubinin, and his wife Adrienne, of Nutley; her grandfather, Wasily Dubinin, and his wife, Svetlana, of the Haskell section of Wanaque; two aunts, Joan Kennedy and Ann Sluke; her godfather, Dominick Menge; a nephew, Ryan Jr., and two nieces, Lauren and Breanna; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Interment was in New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin section of Sayreville.
