Obituaries Efrain "Frank" Crespo Mr. Crespo, 60, of West Keansburg, formerly of the Laurence Harbor section of Old Bridge, died Oct. 1, 2007, at home. He was predeceased by his father, Migel Crespo. Surviving are his wife, LuAn Chonko Crespo; four sons, John Crespo, and his wife, Sally, of West Keansburg, Efrain Crespo Jr., and his wife, Jodi, of Old Bridge, and Michael Chonko and Jason Chonko, both of West Keansburg; a brother, Michael Crespo of North Carolina; his mother, Margarita Crespo, also of North Carolina; and three granddaughters. A Mass was offered at St. Ann's Church, Keansburg. Interment was in Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. Mildred Malik McLaughlin Mrs. McLaughlin, 83, of Milltown, died Sept. 18, 2007, in Franklin Care Center, Franklin Park. After the death of her husband, Roy McLaughlin, in 1985, she worked as a housekeeper at the Milltown Public Library. She also was predeceased by a granddaughter, Jennifer Chirico. Surviving are two daughters, Elsie Chirico, and her husband, Frank, and Dot DeAngelo, all of Milltown; three grandchildren, Frank Chirico Jr., and his wife, Lisa, of Ankeny, Iowa, Danielle Micale, and her husband, Randy, of Milltown and Robyn Barnes, and her husband, John; two great-grandsons; and her caregivers and friends, including Virginia Dudkin of Old Bridge and Shirley Warnsdorfer of Monroe. Services were held at United Methodist Church at Milltown. Entombment was in Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick. Walter Ogonowski Sr. Mr. Ogonowski, 92, of Sayreville, died Oct. 3, 2007, at home. Prior to his retirement in 1982, he was the owner of Ogans Tavern, South Amboy. Prior to that, was employed for 20 years at Mack Motors, Edison. A son, Walter A. Ogonowski Jr., died in 1993. Surviving are his wife, Virginia Genus Ogonowski; two granddaughters, Carrie O'Hart, and her husband, Joseph, and Barbari Ogonowski; two greatgranddaughters; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Sayreville. Interment was in the church cemetery. Robert R. Keating Mr. Keating, 81, of Hallandale, Fla., formerly of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Sept. 30, 2007, in Vitas Hospice, Pembroke Pines, Fla. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a patient transporter at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. His wife, Louise Klotz Keating, died in 1998. Surviving are two children, Debra Furslew of Hollywood, Fla., and B. Keating of Duncanville, Texas; two sisters, Linda Gottfried and Gloria Price; a brother, Jack Keating; and two grandchildren. Services were held at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin. Interment was in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick. Ralph R. Palo Mr. Palo, 55, of East Brunswick, died Oct. 3, 2007, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. He was a patent attorney with Johnson & Johnson, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Carol Lee Landon Palo of East Brunswick; and two daughters, Katherine and Jacqueline Palo, both of East Brunswick. Services were held at Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. A Mass was offered at St. Bartholomew's Church, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2600 Route 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902. Henry "Hank" Litwinski Mr. Litwinski, 81, of Monroe, died Sept. 24, 2007, at home. Prior to his retirement in 1984, he was employed as a welder at Hercules Inc., Parlin section of Sayreville, where he worked for 40 years. Surviving is his former wife, Florence Kuzdzal Szawaryn, with whom he lived. Services were held at Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville. Cremation was private. Stella "Stacia" Budny Lis Mrs. Lis, 98, of Sayreville, died Oct. 2, 2007, at home. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph S. Lis. Surviving are a son, Joseph, and his wife, Eleanor, of South River; a daughter, Dolores Dohn of Sayreville and Natalie Cyban, her husband, Edward, of Mission Viejo, Calif.; three sisters, Cecelia Klosek of East Brunswick, Pearl Majewski of Sayreville and Eleanor Vitello of South River; 14 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Sayreville. Interment was in the church cemetery. Henry J. Sutter Mr. Sutter, 82, of Sayreville, died Sept. 27, 2007, at home. Prior to his retirement in 1988, he worked as a research biochemical technician at Bristol-Myers Squibb, New Brunswick and Princeton. He was a secretary to the Sayreville Zoning Board of Adjustment and a Sayreville Democratic Committeeman. Surviving are his wife, Catherine Auer Sutter; a son, Henry J., and his wife, Maureen, of Manalapan; a daughter, Sheila Anne Volosin, and her husband, Donald, of El Segundo, Calif.; a sister, Mary Sutter Alexander of North Brunswick; a brother, Andrew of South Amboy; six grandsons and one granddaughter; four nieces and three nephews. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Interment was in New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin section of Sayreville. Lorraine F. Bartol Wenstel Mrs. Wenstel, 74, of South River, died Oct. 1, 2007, in Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are her husband, John Wenstel; three daughters, Christine Feret, and her husband, Ronald, of Memphis, Tenn., Joanne Hutchens, and her husband, John, of the Toms River section of Dover and Karen Burnett, and her husband, Todd of Easton, Pa.; a brother, Edward Bartol of Bridgewater; a sister, Barbara Joseph of Saratoga Springs, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Brunswick. Mr. O'Neill, 66, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Oct. 7, 2007, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. Prior to his retirement in 1997, he was a professional photographer. He also worked as a self-employed magician and clown, appearing professionally for more than 30 years as Otto T. Clown and The Amazing Ed. A son, Bernard McCabe, died in 1994. He also was predeceased by his parents, Edmund J. and Rae O'Neill. Surviving are his wife Elizabeth Gately Mc- Cabe O'Neill; a daughter, Elizabeth Nietubye, and her husband, Eric, of Parlin; a daughterin law, Maureen McCabe of Point Pleasant; two sisters, Karen Novielli and Elaine Reichert; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Mass is planned for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 11 at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy. Interment will follow in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.
