Oct. 12

• Children's Bingo Night, sponsored by Spotswood High School Project Graduation 2008, doors open at 6 p.m., event begins at 7 p.m., at Memorial School, 115 Summerhill Road, Spotswood. Admission is $5 and includes 10 playing cards; extra cards may be purchased. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

• Phills Brothers Sunshine Magic Circus, to benefit the Hemophilia Association of New Jersey, 7:30 p.m., at East Brunswick High School, Cranbury Road. • Casino Night 2007, sponsored by the Saint Peter's University Hospital Auxiliary, New Brunswick, 7-11 p.m., at Forsgate Country Club, 375 Forsgate Drive, Monroe. Tickets: $60 in advance, $75 at the door; includes $100 in play money. Proceeds benefit programs and services at the hospital. Blackjack, craps, roulette. • Hit the Bricks 5-Mile Run or Walk, sponsored by the borough of Sayreville, to benefit the Sayreville Association for Brain Injured Children, registration from 8-9:15 a.m., event begins at 9:30 a.m., at Sayreville Borough Hall, Main Street. The 500-point Grand Prix, USA Track and Field (USATF)-certified course will start in front of Borough Hall and wind through the town's hills and flats. All runners who register in advance receive a long-sleeve T-shirt. Prizes awarded to the first 200 finishers, overall winners, age-group winners, master's winners. All proceeds go to the Sayreville Association for Brain Injured Children. Oct. 13 & 14

• Donation Collection, sponsored by the Sayreville War Memorial High School Marching Unit, at the intersections of Washington and Ernston roads and MacArthur Avenue, Sayreville. Proceeds will be used to allow the marching unit to attend and perform at the USSBA (United States Scholastic Band Association) Nationals Competition in Baltimore in November. Oct. 14

• Oktoberfest, sponsored by Our Lady of Victories Parish, 3-7 p.m., in the parish's Monsignor Dalton Hall, Main Street, Sayreville.
