Kicks for a cause

Clockwise from top left - Sandburg Middle School student Christina Shannon (r) battles for a headball with Salk Middle School student Natalie Norcutt during the annual "Under the Lights" charity soccer game at Geick Park in Old Bridge Oct. 4. Sandburg boys soccer coach Dan DiMino, a physical education teacher at Old Bridge High School, talks to the team at halftime in the game against Salk. Sandburg student Cody Vientos, 12, paints the No. 17 on the forehead of classmate Sydney Scheiner, 13, on the sidelines of the girls soccer game against Salk. Scheiner was showing her support for her friend, Graziella Fiecca, No. 17 on Sandburg. The girls and boys teams from both Old Bridge middle schools played under the lights to benefit a local family with a cancer patient.
