Kathi Rae Farrell

Mrs. Farrell, 54, of Monroe, died Oct. 12, 2007, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. An English teacher and English department chairwoman for seven years at Cardinal McCarrick High School, South Amboy, she also taught for four years at Applegarth Middle School, Monroe. Surviving are her husband, Patrick Farrell; two sons, Timothy Farrell of New Providence and Brian T. Farrell of Sackets Harbor, N.Y., and a daughter, Meghan Farrell of Monroe. Services were held at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Old Bridge. Interment was in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.

Henry Fegeley Jr.

Mr. Fegeley, 61, of East Brunswick, died Oct. 13, 2007, in Briarwood Care Center, Parlin section of Sayreville. His wife, Annmarie, died in 2006. Surviving are two sons, Steven and Richard of Jacksonville, Fla; three daughters, Michele Sodano and Lynnmarie Conti, both of Old Bridge, and Nancy Cosgrove of Jacksonville; a sister, Doris Hatton of West Chester, Pa.; and nine grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.

Maryann Anthony Formaniak

Mrs. Formaniak, 58, of Jamesburg, formerly of South River and East Brunswick, died Oct. 4, 2007, in JFK Medical Center, Edison. Her husband, John Formaniak, died in 1991. Surviving are a son, John Formaniak of Jamesburg; three daughters, Annette Stephenson of Helmetta, and Christine Formaniak and Karyann Formaniak, both of Jamesburg; four sisters, Elaine Mendoza and Florence Tempalski, both of Spotswood, Lillian Engelhardt of Sayreville and Joanne Burlew of Hazlet; four brothers, Ronald Breese, Timothy Anthony, Thomas Anthony and Earl Anthony, all of South River; and seven grandchildren. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.

Cleo Genevieve Davis Hall

Mrs. Hall, 90, of Spotswood, died Oct. 13, 2007, at home. Prior to her retirement in 1995, she was employed as a secretary for more than 27 years with Spotswood High School. Her husband, Burton Hall, died in 1982. Surviving are a son, Bradford T. Hall of Spotswood; a brother, Stanley Davis of California; and a sister, Marjorie Steele of Illinois. A funeral service is planned for 10 a.m. on Oct. 19 at Hurley Funeral Home, Mason City, Ill. Interment will follow in Mason City Cemetery. Local arrangements are under the direction of Spotswood Funeral Home. A memorial service celebrating Mrs. Hall's life will be held in Spotswood at a date to be determined.

Barbara A. Jubinsky Kondroski

Mrs. Kondroski, 59, of Old Bridge, died Oct. 12, 2007, in Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was employed in food service with Old Bridge Public Schools, where she worked for 10 years. Surviving are her husband, Donald Kondroski; a son, Joseph Kondroski, and his wife, Dana, of Mesa, Ariz.; a daughter, Dana Kondroski of Old Bridge; a sister, Joanne Kane of Chatham; and a grandson. Services were held at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge. Interment was in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.

Florence P. Anthony Tempalski

Mrs. Tempalski, 50, of Spotswood, formerly of South River, died Oct. 7, 2007, at home. Surviving are her husband, Bernard; a son, Kurt, and his fiancée, Crystal Lena, of Spotswood; a daughter, Tara Dalmau, and her husband, Christian, of Helmetta; four brothers, Ronald Breese, Thomas Anthony, Timothy Anthony and Jackie Anthony, all of South River; three sisters, Elaine Mendoza of Spotswood, JoAnn Burlew of Hazlet and Lillian Engelhardt of Sayreville; three grandchildren; a close friend, Rus Boeitheimer; and many nieces and nephews. Services were held at Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick.

William V. Patton

Mr. Patton, 45, of East Brunswick, died Oct. 12, 2007, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. A licensed plumber, he operated BP Plumbing of East Brunswick. For the past five years he also worked part time at Home Depot, Milltown, where he ran the Kids Workshop, at which he was known as "Mr. Bill." His father, William Patton Jr., died in 1981. Surviving are his mother, Geraldine Lesko Patton of East Brunswick; two sisters, Mary Cacoso, and her husband, Tom, of Jackson and Christine Harper, and her husband, Emerson, of Spotswood; three nephews and nieces; and many cousins, aunts and uncles. A Mass was offered at Corpus Christi Church, South River. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Corpus Christi Church, James Street, South River NJ 08882.

Luigi "Louis" Chiappetta

Mr. Chiappetta, of Freehold Township, died Sept. 30, 2007, in CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Surviving are his wife, Carol Chilelli Chiappetta; two sons, Vincent Chiappetta of Sayreville and Louis Chiappetta of Jackson; a daughter, Lilly Chiappetta of Freehold; a sister, Nella Chiappetta of Italy; and four grandchildren. A Mass was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Freehold. Entombment was in Holmdel Cemetery.

Philip Louis De Francisco

Mr. De Francisco, 85, of Freehold, formerly of Old Bridge, died Oct. 11, 2007, in Community Medical Center, Toms River section of Dover. He was predeceased by his wife, Jennie, in 1979. Surviving are a daughter, Marie Anne De Francisco of Brick; two sons, Charles of Leicester, N.C., and Philip Jr. of Freehold, and his companion, Gale Staneck; a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Cassidy; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold. Interment was in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township.

Joseph S. Lasko

Mr. Lasko, 64, of Sayreville, died Sept. 28, 2007, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement in 2002, he was employed for 25 years as a warehouseman with Wakefern, Edison and Elizabeth. His wife, Virginia Masteika Lasko, died in 2002. He also was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Stephen Lasko. Surviving are a son, Thomas, and his wife, Kimberly, of South Amboy; a sister, Gladys Hunter of Sayreville; two brothers, Robert Lasko of Sayreville and Vincent Lasko of Plumsted; and many nieces and nephews. Services were held at Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville. Interment was in New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin section of Sayreville.

Bernard J. Fiorentino

Mr. Fiorentino, 82, of Howell, died Oct. 10, 2007, at home. Surviving are his wife, Louise A. Fiorentino; six sons, Bernard Fiorentino Jr. of Freehold, Thomas Fiorentino of the Toms River section of Dover, James Fiorentino of York, Pa., Rodger Fiorentino of Jackson, Ted Fiorentino of Sayreville and Louis Fiorentino of Howell; two daughters, Lynn Snyder of Linden and Rose Marie Manek of Manalapan; 21 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township. Interment was in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, also Freehold Township.

Harry W. Kern Sr.

Mr. Kern, 87, of the Cliffwood Beach section of Old Bridge, died Oct. 9, 2007, in Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. His first wife, Edith M. Kern, died in 1986. Surviving are his wife, Arlene Hand Kern; six children, Harry "Rusty" Kern, and his wife, Geri, of Old Bridge, Gary Kern of California, Arlene "Max" Davis, and her husband, Steve, of the Cliffwood section of Old Bridge, Beverly Toribio, and her husband, Dennis, of Lopatcong, Carol Bennett, and her husband, Larry, of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., and James Wallace, and his wife, Chris, of Portland, Pa.; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Services were held at Day Funeral Home, Keyport. Interment was in Shoreland Memorial Gardens, Hazlet.
