'Make, Bake, Rake'

Members of the Sayreville Middle School Student Council pack health and beauty aids and baby-care products they collected for donation to the Manna House in Cliffwood Beach, a shelter for battered women and their children. On Tuesday, the students participated in a "Make, Bake, Rake" event, where they made seasonal decorations for the shelter, baked dinner for the residents, and cleaned up the shelter's grounds. Also, a shelter resident met with the students and spoke about the shelter's purpose. Pictured (l-r) are Jenn Manett, Julianna Lembo, Amanda Martino, Tim Lopez, Eric Hartigan and Ryan Herrighty.
