Garage sale to raise funds for Bebe BELL

The Anshe Emeth Community Development Corp. (AECDC) of Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple, New Brunswick, will sponsor a garage sale to benefit Bebe BELL (Baby Equipment Lovingly Loaned) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 21 at 31 Hamlin Road, East Brunswick. Rain date is Oct. 28.

The event will feature the sale of used, first-quality children's clothing and equipment, toys, books, games, quilting fabric and housewares.

All proceeds will go to Bebe Bell, a program of the AECDC, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the elderly, the disabled, the working poor and others whose income, though very low, makes them ineligible for most free or subsidized social, legal and health-related services. The panel serves individuals living in Middlesex County and Franklin Township, providing medical equipment, baby cribs, car seats, supplies and guidance on medical-insurance issues and links to county and state resources and services.
