Rec plans trips to shows, parade, Rock Center

The Milltown Department of Recreation will sponsor several upcoming trips. All excursions are open to borough residents and nonresidents.

A trip to see the 5 p.m. performance of the "Radio City Christmas Spectacular" at Radio City Music Hall, New York City, is set for Dec. 9. Bus departure will be at noon from Milltown Borough Hall, Washington Avenue. Cost is $115 per ticket for bus transportation and first-mezzanine seating at the show. Reservation deadline is Oct. 19.

There will be a fall bus trip to New York City on Oct. 27. Participants will spend the day shopping and sightseeing. Cost is $15 per person. Call for bus-departure time.

Tickets are available for a Nov. 4 visit to the 2007 Apple Festival at Peddler's Village, Bucks County, Pa. Departure is set for 9 a.m. from Borough Hall. Cost is $15 per person and includes bus transportation.

A bus trip to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City is planned for Nov. 22. Departure is set for 6:30 a.m. from Borough Hall. Drop-off point is Lincoln Center. Participants will be on their own to watch the parade. Cost is $15 per person.

An excursion to Rockefeller Center, New York City, will depart at 2 p.m. on Dec. 15 from Borough Hall. Cost is $15 per person for bus transportation. Participants will be on their own for daylong sightseeing, shopping and dining.

The rec department will offer a Dec. 22 visit to "The Miracle of Christmas" show at Sight and Sound Millennium Theatre, Stratsburg, Pa. The bus will depart at 2 p.m. from Borough Hall. Call for price. Show, dinner and bus transportation are included in the cost.
