Villagers continues season with 'Lucky Stiff'

Villagers Theatre, a nonprofit center for the performing and cultural arts, will present the zany musical comedy "Lucky Stiff" at 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, 2 p.m. on Sundays, Oct. 26-Nov. 18, at the theater, 415 DeMott Lane, Somerset section of Franklin.

With book and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens and music by Stephen Flaherty, "Lucky Stiff," based on "The Man Who Broke the Bank at Monte Carlo" by Michael Butterworth, was originally produced at Playwrights Horizons, New York City, and earned the 1988 Richard Rodgers Production Award.

Tickets cost $18, with $16 tickets available for seniors and students.
