Altruism, Jewish values to be subject of lecture

Dr. Elizabeth Midlarsky, Ph.D., of Columbia University, New York City, will offer a presentation titled "Altruism and Jewish Values" at the next meeting of East Brunswick Hadassah set for 7:45 p.m. on Nov. 5 at the East Brunswick Jewish Center, 511 Ryders Lane. Midlarksy will use quotes from Jewish sources to discuss how altruism is highly valued for the donor as well as for the recipient. The public is invited. Admission is free of charge.
