Cleanup will raise awareness of Darfur

Community on Conscience-New Jersey, People to People International and the East Brunswick High School Amnesty Club will perform community service and clean up Summerhill Road between Cranbury Road and Ryders Lane, East Brunswick, beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 3. Participants will meet at the Bagel Cafe, 647 Route 18, East Brunswick.

The event is designed to raise awareness of the humanitarian crisis in Darfur, Sudan. Information on the crisis and on how to help will be distributed beginning at 9:15 a.m.

The community is invited to join in the cleanup for a full two hours or for any portion of that time.
