O'Brien, not Democratic council, rates praise
Ihave received fliers and seen ads in the local papers attributing many of the good things accomplished during Kennedy O'Brien's tenure as mayor to the Democratic candidates.

The people of Sayreville remember that Kennedy fought for the preservation of the wellfields that are now known as the Capik Nature Preserve. He never proposed putting 4,000 homes on the National Lead site, and, in fact, actively sought the advice of experts on how to develop that property to our town's best advantage. His concern for the people of Sayreville is sincere, and he made sure that the bar closings were set for 2 a.m. out of consideration for the safety of our residents.

Unfortunately, the progress that could still be taking place has been stymied by the all-Democratic Borough Council. Kennedy has always been bipartisan in his appointments to the various boards that serve Sayreville. Knowing him as a friend and my former employer, I know that he doesn't make his decisions based on party affiliation. His conscience and respect for the people of Sayreville are the basis for all his actions as mayor.

Your votes for O'Brien, Kaiserman and Siarkiewicz will help to ensure progress in Sayreville and will guarantee you the chance to be heard with respect and regard for the worth of your opinions.

With Kennedy O'Brien, you don't get grandstanding. You get results.
