Henry Fanizzi

Mr. Fanizzi, 77, of Freehold, died Oct. 23, 2007, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Mary Fanizzi; two sons, Peter Fanizzi of Union Beach and Stephen Fanizzi of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marylynn and Nicholas Verdi of Freehold and Kathy and Dean Nikitas of Old Bridge; a daughter-in-law, Gamble Fanizzi of Howell; and six grandchildren. A Mass was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold. Interment was in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.

Muriel Ann Gross

Mrs. Gross, 53, of Old Bridge, formerly of Matawan, died Oct. 26, 2007, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. She was a 1973 graduate of Madison Township High School, Old Bridge, and a 1976 graduate of Burr D. Coe Nursing School, East Brunswick. She worked as a nurse for 25 years. Surviving are her mother, Muriel Ashenden; a brother, James Ashenden; and two sons, Stephen and Thomas Gross. A Mass was offered at St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge. Cremation was private.

Irene C. Biel Shuttleworth

Mrs. Shuttleworth, 88, of Hazlet, died Oct. 22, 2007, in Regency Park Care Center, Hazlet. She was predeceased by her husband, Capt. Edwin J. Shuttleworth. Surviving are a daughter, Carol Walker of the Cliffwood Beach section of Old Bridge; two sons, Edwin T. of Bonita Springs, Fla., and James H. of Egg Harbor; a brother, Thomas Bile of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Benedict Church, Holmdel. Interment was in St. Teresa Cemetery, Summit.

Edward Furlong

Mr. Furlong, 86, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Oct. 22, 2007, at home. Surviving are his wife, Mary "Mae" Riley Furlong; a daughter, Linda Patterson, and her husband, Hunt, of Glen Gardner; four sons, Edward, and his wife, Andrea, of Evergreen, Colo., Gerald, and his wife, Maryann, of Thousand Oaks, Calif., Gordon, and his wife, Jane Ellen, of Chester and Sean, and his wife, Andrea, of Denville; a brother, Thomas of Newfoundland; a sister, Agnes Laudenslager of Hellertown, Pa.; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Bernadette's Church, Parlin section of Old Bridge. Interment was in New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin section of Sayreville.

Irene Flaherty Finn

Mrs. Finn, 79, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Oct. 27, 2007, at home. Her husband, John "Jack" Finn, died in 2002. Surviving are two sons, John Finn and Timothy Finn, both of Parlin; three daughters, Eileen Boyd, and her husband, Sam, of Allenhurst, Patty De Falco, and her husband, Gregory, of Parlin, and Cathy Marrero, and her husband, Chuck, of Superior, Colo.; two sisters, Ann Melenack of Point Pleasant and Winifred Kierce of Jersey City; and six grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Bernadette's Church, Parlin section of Old Bridge. Interment was in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arnytown section of North Hanover.

Chester J. Wojcik

Mr. Wojcik, 85, formerly of South River and the East Millstone section of Franklin, died Oct. 18, 2007, in New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home at Menlo Park, Edison. He was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Onka and Genevieve Wojcik, and by a brother, Joseph Wojcik. Surviving are a sister, Angela Ella Trosko of Milltown, and several nieces and nephews. A funeral liturgy was offered at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Milltown. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Church or to the Consolata Fathers.

Wasily Domanow

Mr. Domanow, 79, of Edison, died Oct. 25, 2007, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement in 1978, he was employed as a supervisor with Chicopee, a division of Johnson & Johnson, Milltown, where he worked for 25 years. He was a self-employed real-estate agent. Surviving are his wife, Tamara Panskoy Domanow; a son, William W. Domanow, and his wife, Catherine A., of Highland Park; a sister, Maria Jakimtschuk of Milltown; a brother, Michael Domanow of South River; a brother-in-law. Anthony Panskoy of West Palm Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A service was held at Saints Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, South River. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Mario M. Masitti

Mr. Masitti, 85, of East Brunswick, died Oct. 22, 2007, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Surviving are his wife, Juliet Timo Masitti; three sons, Joseph Masitti, and his wife, Robin, of Englishtown, Michael Masitti of East Brunswick and Frank Masitti, and his wife, Cindy, of Plumsted; a daughter, Debbie Parente, and her husband, Nick, of Monroe; a sister, Anne Masitti Lovallo of Keyport; and nine grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Interment was in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arnytown section of North Hanover.

Rita Hunnemeder

Mrs. Hunnemeder, 85, of Cape May, formerly of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Oct. 24, 2007, in Shore Memorial Hospital, Somers Point. Her husband, Kenneth, died in 1993. Surviving are four sons, Kenneth of Gurnee, Ill., Richard of Pennington, Paul of East Brunswick and Gregory of the Rio Grande section of Middle Township; two daughters, Jeanne Steiner of Galloway and Karen Scott of Jackson; and 16 grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Bernadette's Church, Parlin section of Old Bridge. Interment was in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.

Mary Talaber Fabian

Mrs. Fabian, 75, of East Brunswick, formerly of the Somerset section of Franklin, died Oct. 22, 2007, at home. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at Johnson &J Johnson, New Brunswick. Surviving are a daughter, Mary Knapp of the Kendall Park section of South Brunswick; two sons, Paul Fabian of Manville and Joseph Fabian of East Brunswick; a brother, Joseph Talaber of Switzerland; and three grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Milltown. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Alice Lezniewicz Martishewski

Mrs. Martishewski, 76, of Old Bridge, died Oct. 19, 2007, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. Prior to her retirement in 1996, she was employed with ITT Continental Baking, East Brunswick. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Martishewski. Surviving are a son, Brian Martishewski of Spotswood; a daughter, Karen Lopez, and her husband, Fred, of Lakewood; two sisters, Sophie Delorenzo of Bergenfield and Helen Sinonas of Colts Neck; and three grandchildren. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in Maple Grove Park Cemetery, Hackensack.

Grace M. Wilczek

Mrs. Wilczek, 76, of Freehold Township, formerly of Monroe, died Oct. 18, 2007, in The Manor Care Center, Freehold Township. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Wilczek, in 1966. Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Sandra Amaral of Jackson and Lori and James Vittoritt of Shamong Township; a sister-in-law, Betty Vargo of Columbus, Ohio; and a granddaughter. Funeral services were held at Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery, Hopelawn section of Woodbridge.
