Adults invited to bowl for children with cancer

The first Prodigal Foundation Inc. Adult Bowling Tournament to benefit children affected by cancer will be held 2 p.m. on Nov. 10 at Woodbridge Bowling Center, 346 Main St.

All individuals, regardless of skill level, are invited to participate. The tournament will have two divisions. Participants will be placed according to their bowling average (150 and above or below). There will be three phases. All participants will bowl three games in Phase I. Trophies will be awarded for first, second and third place, based on high game in each division. The top 20 percent, based on high set, will advance to Phase II, where they will bowl two more games. The top five bowlers, based on a cumulative high set in Phase I and Phase II, will advance to the step-ladder finals for Phase III. Trophies will be awarded in each division for first, second and third place. Entry forms are available at the bowling center.

George Yuhasz is president and founder of Prodigal Foundation Inc. Mike Yannazzo, a Prodigal Foundation trustee and bowling coach at Woodbridge High School, is chairman of the charity bowling event.
