John Douglas Lawson Jr., D.D.S.

Dr. Lawson, 65, of East Brunswick, died Oct. 31, 2007, in NYU Medical Center, New York City. Prior to his retirement in 1991, he was a dentist in private practice as North Brunswick Dental Group. His wife, Carolyn Neimann Lawson, died in March. Surviving are a daughter, Dr. Erika Tapino, and her husband, Dr. Paul Tapino, of Media, Pa.; three sons, Dr. J. Douglas Lawson III, and his wife, Christina, of Conshohocken, Pa., Gregory Lawson of Washington D.C., and David Lawson, and his wife, Kelly, of Mineral Point, Wis.; his parents, John D. Lawson Sr. and Mildred Setterstrom Lawson of Lakewood; a brother, Dennis, also of Lakewood; a sister, Dale Gorman of Florham Park; and six grandchildren. Services were held at Nativity Evangelical Lutheran Church, East Brunswick. Interment was in Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth.
