Event proceeds to fight pediatric heart disease

A dinner fundraiser to benefit Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) Awareness is set for 5-9 p.m. on Dec. 4 at Friendly's restaurant, Ferry Road, Old Bridge.

Diners should tell their server they are there to support CHD Awareness. The restaurant will then donate 15 percent of supporters' bills to Big Hearts to Little Hearts, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds for research in detecting, preventing and treating pediatric heart disease.
