James William Keefe

Mr. Keefe, 84, of the Clearwater community in Spotswood, died Nov. 5, 2007, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. He was a substitute teacher in Spotswood for six years and served as a member and chairman of the Spotswood Planning Board. A son, Kevin James Keefe, died in 1991. Surviving are his wife, Lorraine Dugas Keefe; a son, Patrick Keefe, and his wife, LuAnn, of Clinton; a daughter, Kathleen Fox, and her husband, Duane, of Bangor, Maine; a daughter-in-law, Susan Keefe of Old Bridge; a sister, Ann McCarthy of Hyde Park, Mass.; a brother, Francis Keefe of Canton, Mass.; seven grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren. Services were under the direction of Spotswood Funeral Home. Interment was in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arnytown section of North Hanover.
