Charles C. Cox Sr.

Mr. Cox, 84, of South River, died Nov. 12, 2007, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was predeceased by two daughters, Christine and Audrey Cox. Surviving are his wife, Dora McLellan Cox; six children, Marjorie Ladd, and her husband, Rod, of Sayreville, Charles Cox Jr., and his wife, Marielise, of Monroe, Marilyn Arora, and her husband, Tarun, of Edison, David Cox, and his wife, Maureen of South River, Phillip Cox, and his wife, Laura, of Wytheville, Va., and Mychal Loney, and her husband, Scott, of the Hamilton Square section of Hamilton; a sister, Phyllis Irwin; a brother, Leonard Cox; 17 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. A service was held at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, East Brunswick. Interment was in Newton Cemetery, Newton, Mass.
