Sterling W. Valentine Mr. Valentine, 54, of North Brunswick, died Nov. 22, 2007, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Sleepy Hollow, N.Y., he resided in Highland Park and Pennsylvania before relocating to North Brunswick six years ago. Mr. Valentine was a network engineer at Vonage Inc., Holmdel, the past year. Prior to that he was employed at AT&T, Piscataway, where he was a member of the Black Alliance. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Tarrytown, N.Y. He was a National Merit Scholar and was listed in Marquis "Who's Who." He was a member of the Arbor Society of Pennsylvania. He is survived by his partner, Carol Fitzgerald of North Brunswick; four stepchildren, Shannon Miller of South Amboy, Maureen Walters of East Brunswick, Cheryl Nemeth of Old Bridge, and Kevin DeLucia of Higganum, Conn.; a brother, Robert Valentine of Fort Washington, Md.; a sister, Cindi Valentine of Ossining, N.Y.; and 11 grandchildren. A funeral service was held at Shiloh Church. Burial was at Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y. Arrangements were by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick. |
