Vets groups to sponsor Pearl Harbor services

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4699, its commander and Ladies Auxiliary, Sayreville, and American Legion Post No. 211, also Sayreville, will march at 7:30 a.m. on Dec. 7 to Sayreville Borough Hall, Main Street, for a 7:55 a.m. ceremony to honor all Pearl Harbor veterans.

Refreshments will follow at the legion post, MacArthur Avenue. A tossing of wreaths to acknowledge all members who gave their lives for their country is set for 11 a.m. on the waterfront at the end of River Road, Sayreville. For more information, call Lucy at (732) 264-3041.
