Community invited to Hanukkah Wonderland

Chabad House of Monroe will host a Hanukkah Wonderland from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 9 at Stop and Shop, Concordia Shopping Center, 1600 Perrineville Road, Monroe.

Participants, who are invited to meet Judah the Macabee and partake in a workshop centered around an authentic hand olive-oil press, will squeeze, press and pound fresh olives into pure olive oil in the manner of the ancient Macabees. Individuals of all ages will sing traditional holiday songs and have the opportunity to make a special Hanukkah craft. Chocolate Hanukkah gelt will be distributed.
