Watercolor artist to illustrate technique

Award-winning watercolorist Michalyn "Mikkey" Tarantino will demonstrate her technique of glazing with watercolors at the next meeting of the Suburban Artist Guild set for 2 p.m. on Dec. 14 at the East Brunswick Public Library, Jean Walling Civic Center. Board members will meet at 1 p.m.

Tarantino has studied with nationally known teachers and is a signature member of the Garden State Watercolor Society. American Artist Watecolor Magazine chose her as one of "20 Emerging Artists" for its Fall 2007 issue. She received the Medal of Honor in 2005 from the New Jersey Watercolor Society.
