Governor ignores voters' wishes
One of the bond questions on the Nov. 5 election ballot was to permit N.J. to raise $450 million for stem-cell research. The voters did not support that bond issue, but Gov. Jon Corzine just a few days after the elections went forward with a bond for $270 million to build offices for stem-cell research.

Corzine wants to fund buildings that have no funding to support research. Buildings we will have, but no support for people to perform those job functions. The plain fact is that the public does not want to support that type of research.

The governor stated that the low voter turnout was to blame for the failure to pass the bond issue.

Does anyone wonder why voters are so apathetic with voting? Does anyone in Trenton listen to the public?

It is time for another Boston Tea Party, but let's hold this one in Trenton.
