John Vavallo

Mr. Vavallo, 77, of Monmouth Beach, formerly of Old Bridge, died Dec. 6, 2007, in St. Barnabas Hospice, Long Branch. He was predeceased by his wife, Jewel, in 2001, and by a son, Vito, in 1993. Surviving are two daughters, Marie Brill of Marlboro and Janice Vavallo of Monmouth Beach; a sister, Rose Claro of Norwalk, Conn.; and two grandchildren. Entombment was in Holmdel Cemetery Mausoleum. Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge, was in charge of arrangements.
