John Deren Sr.

Mr. Deren, 90, of Sayreville, died Dec. 4, 2007, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a maintenance supervisor at Hercules Inc., Parlin section of Sayreville, where he worked for 40 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Sosnowski Deren, in 1981. Surviving are a son, John Deren Jr., and his wife, Connie, of the Port Monmouth section of Middletown; and two nieces. A Mass was celebrated at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Sayreville. Interment was in St. Mary of Ostrabrama Cemetery, East Brunswick.
