Charles James "Jim Sr." Parks

Mr. Parks, 65, of South River, died Dec. 19, 2007, in Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement in 1999, he was a math teacher at Rahway High School and Bridgewater Raritan High School. A set designer, he was on the board of directors of Playhouse 22, East Brunswick, where he and his wife, Paula, co-founded Playkids 22 in 2002. He was predeceased by his father, Charles Joseph Park; his mother, Margaret W. Parks; and his mother-in-law, Mary M. Milano. Surviving are his wife, Paula M. Milano Parks; three sons, Charles James "Jim Jr." Parks, and his wife, Karin,Andrew J. Parks, and his wife, Kathleen, and Christopher T. Parks, and his wife, Jamie, all of the Somerset section of Franklin; a stepdaughter, PaulaA.Milano of South River; a sister, Kathleen M. Ruff, and her husband, John, of Keesville, N.Y.; a brother-in-law, Frank J.Milano, and his wife, Maureen, of Milltown; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Cremation was private. Arrangements were under the direction of Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River. A memorial service will be held at a date and time to be announced.
