Arlene Prusarczyk Novak Mrs. Novak, 63, of South River, died Dec. 24, 2007, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a custodian for 10 years with the South River Board of Education. Her husband, Kenneth L. Novak, died in 1985. She also was predeceased by her parents, Genevieve and Joseph Prusarczyk. Surviving are five children, Kenneth J. Novak and Donna Novak, both of South River, Ronald Novak, and his wife, Donna, of Sayreville, Kevin Novak, and his wife, Charlene, of Jamesburg and Robert Novak of Freehold; a brother, Joseph Prusarczyk of Pennsylvania; her companion, Ted Berkebile of South River; and 14 grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Stephen Protomartyr Church, South River. Interment was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin section of Sayreville.
