Council goings-on make for fascinating reading
It's always interesting to read the Suburban's articles on the meetings of the Sayreville Borough Council.

Topics have included a proposal to buy a cliff on Washington Road, construction of a parking lot in the tinyMelrose section of the borough, and, most recently, improved security for the Winding Woods apartment complex.

Whatever the topic, one is reminded of Gov. Bill Richardson of New Mexico, who during a presidential debate, remarked that he had been involved in hostage negotiations that were more civil.

As Al Jolson used to say, "You ain't heard nothin' yet."
