• Casino Night, sponsored by the Old Bridge Education Foundation (OBEF), 7-11 p.m., at Sunny Palace, Route 18, East Brunswick. More than $5,000 in prizes; cash bar; hors d'oeuvres. Tickets cost $30 each, $50 a pair; includes $25 per person in free chips. OBEF is an independent, nonprofit organization that raises money to fund grants for ideas submitted by teachers employed by Old Bridge Public Schools. • National Wrestling Superstars Show, to benefit the New Jersey Special Olympics Polar Bear Plunge, 7:45 p.m., at South River Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1451, Reid Street. Featuring the second annual Jersey J-Cup Tag- Team Tournament with champions The Psychedelic Studs (Ace Darling and Nicky Oceans) vs. area tag teams including The Wild Breed and The Gemini Trojans. • Adopt-A-Family, sponsored by the South River Elementary School PTA, to make the holiday season more enjoyable for disadvantaged children in South River. • Cookie Booth Sale, sponsored by Monroe Girl Scout Cadette Troop No. 80330, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Stop and Shop, Perrineville Road, Monroe Proceeds will be used to help fund an upcoming Scout trip to Washington, D.C.
