Florence M. Marczak Thomas

Mrs. Thomas, 90, of South Amboy, died Jan. 9, 2008, in Briarwood Care Center, Sayreville. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a photo operator with E.I. DuPont, Parlin section of Sayreville, where she worked for 40 years. Her husband, Arthur, died in 1976. She also was predeceased by two brothers, Adrian and Arthur Marczak, and two sisters, Catherine Zambrowski and Connie Mackiel. Surviving are three sisters, Dorothy Murasko of South Amboy, Lillian Kurek of Pennsylvania and Rita Ferenci of Sayreville; two brothers, Adam Marczak of South Amboy and Alfons Marczak of Surf City; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A Mass was offered at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy. Interment was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin. Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Church or to the charity of one's choice.
