Curtain to rise on 'Of Mice and Men'

The Sayreville Main Street Theatre Company will present its production of John Steinbeck's "Of Mice and Men" at 8 p.m. on Feb. 8, 9, 15, 16, 22 and 23, and at 2 p.m. on Feb. 10, at the Main Street Theatre, 3018 Bordentown Road, Parlin section of Sayreville.

The play, adapted from Steinbeck's 1937 novella, tells the story of George and Lennie, migrant ranch workers trying to "stake their claim" in California during the Great Depression. The production will be directed by Vince Tinebra.

Advance tickets cost $18 for adults, $16 for seniors and students, $12 for youngsters under age 12.
