Feb. 8-14

• Gift-Wrapping Service, sponsored by East Brunswick Hadassah, during regular mall hours, at the Brunswick Square Mall, Route 18, East Brunswick, to benefit all Hadassah projects, including medical research for a breast-cancer cure. For a nominal fee, gift items purchased from any store in the mall or elsewhere will be wrapped with seasonal or all-occasion papers and decorated with creative ribbon designs. Gifts may be wrapped while shoppers wait or dropped off for a later pickup. Corporate gift-wrap services available. (732) 947-8757.

Feb. 10

• Knights in Our Hearts Forever Spring Prom Fashion Show, sponsored by the Old Bridge High School (OBHS) PTSA, 1 p.m., in the auditorium at Old Bridge High School, Route 516. Approximately 90 students and several administrators, Old Bridge Superintendent of Schools Simon M. Bosco, Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources Francis Perrino and OBHS Principal James Hickey will model formal attire. Admission is $8 per person; includes door prizes, refreshments. • Pancake Breakfast, sponsored by Prodigal Foundation Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children affected by cancer throughout Middlesex County, 8-11 a.m., at the Woodbridge Elks Lodge, 665 Rahway Ave. Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for youngsters ages 5-10; youngsters under age 5 admitted free of charge. • Proceeds Night, sponsored by the Samsel Upper Elementary School PTO, Sayreville, 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., at Subway Sandwiches and Salads, Route 9 south, Wal-Mart Plaza, Old Bridge. Participants should tell their server they are there to support the Samsel Upper Elementary School PTO. Restaurant will donate 15 percent of each supporter's bill (pretax) to the PTO. • TGIF Night, sponsored by the Sayreville War Memorial High School (SWMHS) Bombers bowling team, 5-9 p.m., at TGI Friday's, Route 9 north, Old Bridge. Supporters should tell their servers they are there to support the SWMHS bowling team. The restaurant will donate 20 percent of each bill (excluding alcohol) to the team.
