Hildgard A. Crowe

Mrs. Crowe, 78, of the Cliffwood Beach section of Old Bridge, died Jan. 26, 2008, at home. Prior to her retirement in 2007, she worked as a crossing guard for 40 years with the Old Bridge Township Board of Education. Surviving are six sons and five daughters-in-law, Robert P. and Rosanne Crowe of Old Bridge, Michael G. and Elaine Crowe of Sound Beach, N.Y., Norman C. and Lisa A. Crowe, Peter A. and Erika Crowe, and Bryan D. Crowe, all of Cliffwood Beach, and Thomas W. Crowe of Charlottesville, Va.; a sister, ElisabethWatters of Bay Shore, N.Y.; a brother, PeterWozniewski of Kleinenbroich, Germany; and four grandchildren. Amemorial gathering was held at Day Funeral Home, Keyport. Memorial contributions may be made to the hospice program at VNA of Central Jersey.
