Hospital to sponsor tai chi, qigong class

The Raritan Bay Medical Center Department of Integrative Medicine will offer a 10-week "Introduction to Tai Chi and Qigong" class from 5:30-6:45 p.m. on Tuesdays beginning Feb. 26 at the hospital's Perth Amboy division, 530 New Brunswick Ave., and from 5-6:15 p.m. on Wednesdays beginning Feb. 27 at the Old Bridge division's Medical Arts Center, Auxiliary Hall C, off Ferry Road, between routes 9 and 18.

Class leader Rich Lund has been a taichi and qigong instructor for more than 20 years. The program will feature tai-chi and qigong movements and principles that develop calmness and relaxation, posture, strength, balance and coordination.

egistration is required by Feb. 22.

Cost is $75 per person.
