Timothy W. Scherer Sr. Mr. Scherer, 57, of Sayreville, died Dec. 31, 2007. He was a graduate of Middlesex County College, Edison. He was predeceased by his father, Vernon W. Scherer, and by a brother, Michael V. Scherer. Surviving are a son, Timothy William Scherer Jr., and a daughter, Jamie Elizabeth Scherer, of Milltown; his mother, Elizabeth Scherer of Sayreville; two brothers, Craig G. Scherer of Glen Gardner, Mark K. Scherer of the Forked River section of Lacey and Shawn S. Scherer of Jackson; his former wife, Helen Scherer; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Interment was in New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin section of Sayreville.
