American regional music will be heard at library

Kenny & Jerry, featuring Ken Parker on violin and Jerry Ziets on guitar and vocals, will kick off the season of First Friday Concerts at the Old Bridge Public Library's central branch with two performances March 7 at 6 and 7:15 p.m. Their duo plays a range of American regional music, including blues, Southern soul, country, cajun, bluegrass, R&B, swing and Texas honky tonk. Seating for the free event is limited.
Ken Parker on violin and Jerry Ziets on guitar and vocals will kick off a new season of First Friday Concerts at the Old Bridge Public Library Main Branch, Route 516 and Cottrell Road, at 6 and 7:15 p.m. on March 7.

The performers' wide range of American regional music - blues, Southern soul, country, Cajun, bluegrass, rhythm and blues, swing and Texas honky-tonk - tells stories evocative of times past.

The event is free of charge and open to the community. Seating is limited.
