Mary G. Cacossa

Mrs. Cacossa, 86, of Laurence Harbor, died Feb. 25, 2008, at home. She was a licensed practical nurse at several hospitals. She was predeceased by two daughters, Elizabeth Sidisin in 2006 and Penny Cacossa in 1988; a son, James Cacossa in 1951; two brothers, John and Herbert Ballantyne; and a sister, Elizabeth Keefe. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Karen Cacossa of Newton; two sisters, Nancy Slovenz of Holmdel and Patricia Diodato of Toms River; a brother, George Ballantyne of Corpus Christi, Fla.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Interment took place at Cedarwood Cemetery, Hazlet. The Day Funeral Home, Keyport, was in charge of arrangements.
