John Pityinger

Mr. Pityinger, 84, of California, formerly of Old Bridge, died Feb. 11, 2008, in Providence at St. Elizabeth, North Hollywood, Calif. Prior to his retirement in 1992, he was employed as a plant-maintenance manager with the township of East Brunswick. A son, Keith Pityinger, died in 1978, and his wife, Ethel Pityinger, died in 1999. Surviving are a son, Kevin Pityinger, and his wife, Lauri, of Burbank, Calif.; and two grandchildren. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, also East Brunswick.
