Program to shed light on 'Classic Broadway'

The I.L. Peretz Secular Jewish Community will present "Classic Broadway With a Twist" at 8 p.m. on March 14 at the Rutgers Labor Education Center, Ryders Lane, New Brunswick.

The music and personalities of Broadway composers including Gershwin, Rodgers, Kern, Berlin and Bernstein will be brought to life when pianist, singer and speaker Nina Deutsch takes center stage.

The public is invited. Admission is free of charge.

The program is offered through the Horizons Speakers Bureau of the New Jersey Council for the Humanities, a state partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
