Chabad House plans gift-giving in Monroe

Chabad House of Monroe will sponsor a "ShalachManot" gift-giving onMarch 21 to bring Purim cheer to the residents of nursing homes and assisted-living facilities in Monroe.

Volunteers will distribute more than 200 gift packages of food to the facilities' residents. The food will be presented in containers decorated by children from Jewish schools throughout New Jersey.

The "Shalach Manot" boxes will be packaged beginning at 11 a.m. on March 16 at Chabad House of Monroe, 4 Kelly Court.
