Paulette Briand Doyle

Mrs. Doyle, 100, of Old Bridge, formerly of the Cliffwood Beach section of Old Bridge, died Feb. 16, 2008, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Prior to her retirement in 1988, she was a private-duty nurse's aide for more than 50 years. Her husband, John Lane Doyle, died in 1963; a son, Michael Doyle, died in 1997; and a daughter, Paulette Nye, died in 1997. Surviving are 11 grandchildren, Patricia Volpe of Dighton, Mass., Frank Doyle of Cliffwood Beach, Deborah Seigler and Barbara Doyle, both of Ocean Township, John Doyle of Keyport, Karen Parker of the Toms River section of Dover, Kathy Belanger of Connecticut, Arlene Savitsky of Keansburg, Jan Nye and Paulette Nye, both of Ocean Grove, and David Nye of Pennsylvania; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St.Ambrose Church, Old Bridge. Interment was in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Keyport.
