Sayreville Dems seek potential candidates

The Sayreville Democratic Organization (SDO) is accepting résumés and letters of interest from individuals who would like to be selected as the organization's candidates for Borough Council in 2008.

To be eligible, an individual must be a registered voter residing in the borough of Sayreville and have been a registered Democrat for no less than two years prior to the date of the primary election. Potential candidates also must submit a letter to the SDO stating that they wish to be considered for office and will accept the responsibilities of office and abide by the rules and regulations of the SDO.

The SDO will meet to select candidates at 7:30 p.m. on April 2 at the Sayreville Democratic Headquarters, ShopRite Plaza, corner of Washington and Ernston roads, Parlin.Any individual interested in being a candidate must attend the meeting.
