Special-needs soccer seeking teen buddies

Local teens age 13 and up are sought to act as buddies with Just4Kixs, a soccer program designed for special-needs children ages 4-12. The program is conducted through the Old Bridge Soccer League.

The teen buddies would volunteer their time one hour a week to help a child learn the sport and to shadow him or her. The teen will be paired with one child for the 10-week season.

Each teen buddy will receive a letter acknowledging his or her community service.

The program will take place one hour every Saturday for 10 weeks beginning March 29 at Ticetown Field, Old Bridge.
